On the morning of March 2, the first “Star of Xiaoguan” volunteer award ceremony of Xiaoguan Sub-District, Chaoyang District, Beijing City was held in Library Conference Hall of University of International Business and Economics. The legal service volunteer team from Beijing Fortune Law Firm won the honorable title of “Xiaoguan Law Popularization Star”.

       Since July 2009, the lawyers from the law firm have been actively participating in the public-interest activities of laws entering the community in Xiaoguan district. In October 2010, Esq. Sun Peng initiated the producing of party member identity in public-interest services and making of party member publicity board to welcome the supervision of the masses. The lawyers from Fortune have been active in every large legal publicity activity organized by Xiaoguan Sub-District.

          Every Tuesday is the fixed legal service time for Huixinyuan Community. In the past years, it has received more than 1200 person/time for the residents for legal consultation. At the same time with the provision of legal services for the residents, we also entered into the institutions in the area such as small and medium-sized enterprises, schools, and military camps, and sent legal books and gave legal lessons to them. Moreover, for the convenience of legal consultation and legal knowledge learning of the public at any time, we opened WeChat official account of the law firm “Fortune Lawyers”.

          In the past years, we have been voluntarily providing legal services for the handicapped in the area and handled around 20 legal aid cases. It can be said that it has been a life concept for the residents in Xiaoguan Area to turn to Fortune Lawyers when there are legal issues.
