To further enhance the awareness of protecting their own legal rights and interests of the senior citizens and endeavor to build the harmonious community of respecting and caring the senior citizens, on the afternoon of November 29, 2016, Sun Ting from Beijing Fortune Law Firm visited Zongzhuang Community, Olympic Village Sub-District and gave the public-interest legal lecture on “Senior Citizen Rights and Interests Protection”

      The lecture focused on Senior Citizen Rights and Interests Protection Law and the issues involving the vital interests of senior citizens in the aspect of assets, retirement life and consumption in everyday life of senior citizens, introduced the legal rights and interests of senior citizens for carious easily-violated rights of senior citizens such as right of support, property ownership right and right of inheritance with abundant, detailed, vivid and typical cases, and provides legal reminding for them. The lecture was popular and easy to understand, the detailed cases arose the sympathy of all the senior citizens.

      The activity increased the legal awareness of right defense and protection of senior citizens in the community and enabled them to know how to utilize corresponding laws to protect their own rights and interests in daily life. In the end, Sun Ting made exchanges with the community residents and answered relevant legal questions.
